Using satellite data and other geo-reference datasets in addition to statistical modelling techniques, Tracy Adole has come up with outstanding findings in research and development that have significant implication sustainable development and climate change. 
She has also used data and novel techniques to develop practical solutions to real world problems. Examples are using a Bayesian geo-statistical techniques to create 100 x 100m gridded population estimates for low and middle income countries; and increased routine immunisation coverage by an estimated 50% through the evaluation of the performance of post-campaign vaccination coverage survey.
